Weblogic Server Patch installation in Windows Server


1. First make sure patches present for current version.


 set PATH=%PATH%;/<Weblogic home Path>\OPatch
 set JAVA_HOME=<Java Home Path>
 set ORACLE_HOME=/ < Same as Weblogic Home >




opatch lsinventory


Make sure patch you are planning to apply is not present in inventory already


2. Run following command to apply patch to Oracle weblogic server


D:\22505331>opatch napply -jdk %JAVA_HOME%

Copyright (c) 2013, Oracle Corporation.  All rights reserved.

Oracle Home       : D:\XX
Central Inventory : C:\Program Files\Oracle\Inventory

OPatch detects the Middleware Home as "D:\XX"

3. Validate patch applied. In same window run following command.


opatch lsinventory
