Steps to apply Tuxedo patch in Linux

Apply Tuxedo patch in Linux server

1. Download latest patch of Oracle tuxedo from https://support.oracle.com
Verify current version of tuxedo


> tmadmin -v
INFO: Oracle Tuxedo, Version 12.1.1.0, 64-bit, Patch Level (none)


2. Navigate to please where Linux Tuxedo patch is extracted. Note that Windows and Linux tuxedo patch differentiate in version. So before you apply download latest patch of Linux OS only.


export ORACLE_HOME=/opt/bea


 ./install
Installing server and client files...
Enter owner for patch files:
hrappspt
Enter group for patch files:
hrappspt
DIR=/XX
rpreleasenote =  Oracle Enterprise Linux Server XX, 64bits Tuxedo
portreleasenotes= Oracle Enterprise Linux Server XX 64bits Tuxedo
The patch installation finished successfully.
3. Verify Tuxedo patch by running following command
tmadmin -v
INFO: Oracle Tuxedo, Version 12.1.1.0, 64-bit, Patch Level 080
